Expanding our reach beyond Earth Day, during the month of April, we are honored to support the reforestation of California’s forests with One Tree Planted as part of our commitment to sustainability. For every carton of No.2 bamboo toilet paper sold one tree will be planted to restore the land damaged by wildfires.
- Every tree makes a positive impact for nature, wildlife, and people.
- Trees clean our air and water, create habitats for biodiversity, contribute to our health and wellbeing and create jobs for social impact.
We are honored to support reforestation with @onetreeplanted as part of our never ending commitment to sustainability.
California's forests provide innumerable benefits, including clean water and air, recreation, habitat, and beautiful scenery. Healthy forests also play an important role in addressing climate change. Five years of drought and a large-scale bark beetle infestation have seriously damaged California’s forests. 2017’s record-breaking wildfire season burned more than 1.3 million acres – an area the size of Delaware. 2020's fire season has consumed close to 3 million acres, resulting in hundreds of millions of trees that will need to be restored.
Trees play an important role in the vitality of California communities. Your contribution will help plant trees and restore forests throughout California. These foresters work hard to promote improved vegetation planning and resource management, helping to reduce the risk of catastrophic fires and floods in the region.
